খালুয়া কাছিম

Indian softshell turtle (Aspideretes gangeticus); the second largest freshwater turtle species of Bangladesh. In Bengali, it is called “Khalua Kachim”. This is a threatened species of Bangladesh and exists in the red list of IUCN. This turtle was placed in the market for sale. It weighed about 9kg and price asked for Tk.5000.
